Procedure: · Empty the dishwasher by removing all the utensils, racks trays and baskets and run the dishwasher.
· Make sure that all the holes are open for the water to run through freely by checking the spinning arms carefully. If any debris had filled up the holes in the spinning arms then clean the debris using the toothpick or any small instrument.
· One place where debris can accumulate very easily is underneath the door in your dishwasher where the water does not reach. The floor of the dishwasher should be inspected properly for any waste water around the drain. Look for any clogged debris in the grate or grill and remove any kind of solid matter that has built up. Remove the filter if any and wash the parts in the sink with help of a tooth brush and baking soda mixture or soapy water, the water has to be Luke warm.
· If any food particles get clogged around the drain it may produce unpleasant smell so it’s important to clean around the drain with the toothbrush and baking soda paste very carefully. Clean all the tags or sticker that may have come off from the dishes and jars.
· Wipe the whole of the parts and seal of the dishwasher, sides and edges of the machine properly with a clean soft cloth which is previously soaked in white vinegar and if you some squirts of lemons juice.
· Clean the utensil racks and holders properly to clean any stuck food stuffs.
· If you run your dishwasher with white distilled vinegar then any kind of hard water deposits can be removed.
Note: Rinse all parts well to avoid any risk of rust and do not ever use bleach for stainless steel parts nor ever mix vinegar and bleach.
