Ingredients:·5 cups of water. Divide them; 1 cup of sugar; 1 cup of lemon juice. ( 6-8 lemons); Crushed ice or ice cubes.

For garnishing:
· Lemon slices.
· Mint leaves.
· Sprigs of basils or thyme or rosemary.
· Nasturtium flowers or sprigs of lavender.
Equipment Required:
· Pitcher.
· Cutting board and knife.
· Citrus reamer of juicer.
· Measuring cup
· Saucepan.
Procedure:
· Make the simple syrup: pour 1 cup of water in the saucepan and 1 cup of sugar is combined with it. Stir the solution so that the sugar melts completely over low fire until a gentle simmer is observed. After the sugar dissolves remove it from the gas oven and allow it to cool.
· Squeeze the lemons: cut the lemons into two halve. Press to take out the juice until you get one full cup of lemon juice. Cut one slice of lemon and keep it for garnishing.
· Combine: Pour down the sugar syrup in the pitcher along with the lemon juice. Add the remaining cups of water and stir properly. Taste the lemonade and adjust as required. Add a few tablespoons of sugar if you want it to be sweeter or if you want the more of the tartness add some more le on juice. ( one half of a lemon would do)
· Add crushed ice or ice cubes to the pitcher if you think you will drink from the pitcher itself. Otherwise add the ice to the individual glasses.
· Garnishing (optional): for garnishing there are many options like flowers (lavender and nasturtium), sprigs of basils and mint, slice of lemon or any other fruit that you prefer, herbs etc. garnish the glass by making a thin slit in the fruit slice and place the fruit on the brim of the glass.
